Impartial Workplace Investigations

YOU ONLY HAVE ONE CHANCE TO GET IT RIGHT.

Workplace investigations at WIS always begin with the end goal in mind: to provide a systematic, deliberate, and objective investigation in which we analyze facts on all sides to ensure an impartial, evidence-based report for the client. Ultimately, an investigation is a tool for understanding and correcting workplace dysfunction.  We subscribe to the Guiding Principles for Conducting Workplace Investigations adopted by the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI) and apply those principles to each workplace investigation that we conduct.

WIS’s investigators are lawyers who are experienced practitioners that understand the intricacies, legalities, and nuances of effective investigations.  Our investigators have been providing impartial investigations at a sophisticated level for more than 20 years.  At WIS we pride ourselves on the quality of our investigations.

The investigators at WIS are available to conduct workplace investigations from all sectors across the country, including energy, government, technology, research, fire protection, higher education, transportation, financial, nonprofit, and local business. We have experience in high stakes and high-pressure situations and our investigators do not waver in bringing impartiality to bear in even the most challenging of circumstances.

Our investigation practice expertise spans from workplace harassment, discrimination, and retaliation, to sexual misconduct and assault, insider trading, employee misconduct, ethics violations and breach of public trust.

Three things set WIS apart in the practice of impartial investigations. The first is our approach to data.  We use a data analysis model for every significant case. This gives our clients the benefit of gaining perspective on the data and facts, and provides superior and more accurate findings to use as a tool moving forward. Second is the caliber of our investigators.  At WIS we have exceptional talent who are of top intellectual caliber and who are work as hard performing workplace investigations as they do when they are practicing law. Finally, WIS is a small business, that is proudly owned and operated by southerners who understand the nature of business, industry and education in our region.  Our staff is as committed to the region as they are to the integrity and ethics of our  practice of workplace investigations.

When retained, we will respond and begin your investigation right away. A prompt response is essential in our line of work, and we are used to operating in an urgent setting. That is the nature of the beast.
